INTELLIGENT BATHROOM EXPERIENCE DESIGN

DESCRIPTION

The objective of the design of this smart bathroom experience was to create a personalized bathroom proposal that adapts to each user, a bathroom where technology is tailored to individuals.

Conceptual proposal made for ROCA in collaboration with GARIGOT.

PROCESS

The working process focuses on analyzing how people use the bathroom. Since people have different moods throughout the day or week, the bathing experience can vary significantly. The project also considers factors such as lighting, scents, visual aspects, and sounds, as well as the layout of bathroom elements.

 

In this project, various concepts were taken into account, including user experience, spatial design, experience design, interaction design, ergonomics, industrial design, app design, and product design. It's a project that combines multiple disciplines to arrive at an effective and innovative solution.

RESULT

An intelligent bathroom that adapts to people. Through sensors and various parameters, the bathroom can adjust to the user's mood, changing its ambiance or the type of bath/shower it offers. It can create vastly different environments, such as an energetic setting for routine days or relaxing atmospheres for calm moments.

 

These differentiations are achieved through variations in lighting, scents, bath or shower settings, music, screens, and more. This system is controlled through a mobile app, allowing the user to decide what type of bathroom experience they want or, alternatively, let the intelligent bathroom make the choice for them.
